We run an IPTinCan server for you on our infrastructure. You get a dedicated server instance with your own data, channels, and users. We handle updates, backups, monitoring, and uptime. You just use the client to connect and manage your community.

Yes. You can request a full export of your server database and uploaded files at any time. The export is a standard SQLite database and file archive, identical to what you would have if you self-hosted. There is no vendor lock-in.

Managed servers run on Google Cloud Platform in the US (us-central1). Additional regions may be available for Organization plan customers upon request.

Yes. You can change plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Your data is preserved during plan changes.

Your server runs as an isolated instance. We have access to the server infrastructure for maintenance and support, but we do not read your messages or data. For maximum privacy, enable end-to-end encryption, which ensures that even the server operator (us) cannot read message content. Or self-host, which is always free.

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Annual billing is available at a 15% discount.

We offer a 14-day free trial on all managed hosting plans. No credit card required to start. If you decide not to continue, your data is available for export for 30 days after trial expiration.

Managed hosting is for people who do not want to deal with server administration, port forwarding, TLS certificates, backups, and updates. You get a reliable, always-on server with professional uptime monitoring and automatic maintenance. If you are comfortable with server administration, self-hosting is the better option and costs nothing.
